Who are we?

The main focus of our work currently centres on the pine marten with smaller projects linked to a number of other carnivores, including stoat, weasel and European mink. Over many years, we have developed a great deal of expertise and experience associated with the practical conservation issues concerning these species and we are happy to share this knowledge with conservationists, developers, planners and the public alike.

A Pine Marten

Weasel

Mustela nivalis

Worldwide there are over 85 species of horseshoe bats. Five are found in Europe, but only two, the greater and lesser horseshoe bat, are native to the British Isles. Horseshoe bats have a circular flap of skin surrounding their nostrils and the horseshoe shape of this ‘nose-leaf’ gives these bats their name.
